The District tournament for the Moore County Raiders was two and done as they fell in back-to-back games to Huntland and Cornersville.


Middle School Raiders win district
The Moore County Middle School Raiders have won their second district title with a 15-0 blanking of Forrest after taking it on the chin from the Rockets in their last game 10-4.

Stephens homerun sets up Raider comeback
The Moore County Raiders were able to cap the regular season with a win, topping the Hampshire Hawks 9-8, avenging an early 10-3 loss to the squad back in March.

Raiderettes take down Champions
The Middle School Raiderettes opened their postseason with a 6-2 win over the Cascade Lady Champions.

Moore County competes at Special Olympics
Moore County will be amongst the teams competing at the Special Olympics Monday at Tullahoma High School. Athletes are encouraged to arrive by 9:15 a.m., or earlier if possible, to prepare for the opening festivities. The day’s schedule will begin with check-in at 8:15 a.m., followed by athletes lining up on the track between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. for the Parade of Athletes, which will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.

HOSA shows strong at State
T hirteen Moore County HOSA students who recently competed at the State Convention in Chattanooga. The HOSA Bowl team made it to the second round of state competition. The HOSA Bowl was comprised of Trista Klinetobe, Cherish Fox, Kaycee Young, and Kahara Thomas. Conner Thompson has a second place finish in Nutrition. He will represent Moore County High School at the International Convention this summer in Indianapolis.
