Raiderette seniors celebrated
School Board eyes upcoming budget

April’s School Board meeting opened with 9th grade student Cale Rose making a statement to the board. Miss Rose, very active in 4-H, wished to thank the board for their continued support of 4-H and FFA activities, especially the field trips the groups take. Some trips are educational in nature, and some are for competitions. The board’s approval is required for these trips, which often result in the students’ absence from some classes. Miss Rose was 2025’s Grand Champion for the 4-H Chick Chain.
Raiderette tennis wins three straight

In recent action, the Moore County girls tamed the Fayetteville City Tigers 7-1.
Special Olympics Spring Games May 4

The Special Olympics Area 13 Spring Games will take place on Monday, May 4, at Tullahoma High School (THS), bringing together athletes from across the region for a day of competition, celebration, and community spirit.

Raiderettes win on eight grade night
Rockets fizzle against Raiderettes
The Westwood Lady Rockets fizzled against the Moore County Middle School Raiderettes as the girls from Lynchburg brought home a 13-5 victory. It was the Raiderettes’ win from the get-go as Moore County went up 11-1 after three with the Rockets making their only real noise in the fourth with a four-run bottom of the fourth. Moore County got most of it back in the top of the fifth was two runs.
Mt. Pleasant has unpleasant trip to Lynchburg

Jax Ross made sure things were not pleasant for Mt. Pleasant as the Moore County Raiders got a 16-10 win over their visitors, with five of those runs knocked in by kicker turned third baseman.
