The Moore County High School girls’ team slammed Fayetteville City 7-0 in their recent match.

Maddie Sparkman defeated Anabeth Summers 8-1 while Blaizia Thomison also blew out Mya March 8-1. Becca Trussell won a closer math over Reagan McVey, 8-6 while Makylah Brown took out March Batchelov 8-3. Gracie Holt blanked Maegan Turner 8-0. Sparkman and Holt took down Sumners and March in doubles 8-3 while Thomison and Brown topped McVey and Batchelov 8-1.

Prior to that the Raiderettes battled Marshall County. Sparkman was the only player to score a win as she topped Olivia Ferrell 8-5. The doubles team of Sparkman and Holt topped Farrell and Armengolt in doubles action to round on the girls’ wins in the contest.

The boys were not able to get a win in their game against Marshall with Logan Trussell falling 7-9 and Leo Tucker losing 6-8. Abraham Edwards fell 3-8 as did Tyler Bateman. Brayden Kelly lost 5-8 and Cannon Estfon 0-8.
