Thunder rolls into town Saturday

There is nothing else like the sound (and the feel!) of those two-wheeled heavies when they roll by. Saturday, October 24, there will be a rally of them rolling into town for the day. It’s the annual Thunder in the Hollow rally, and those motorcycles will be thundering around town from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The main event will be held at the Moorehead Pavilion in Wiseman Park. The family friendly party will feature live music, great food, local vendors, contests, beards, Halloween fun, and, of course, motorcycles. There will be plenty to see and do for riders and non-riders alike. And all of it is for a good cause.

The event supports the Moore County High School Marching Band. Thunder in the Hollow merchandise will be on sale, including shirts, hoodies, hats, patches, and more. Items may be ordered online at thunderinthehollow.myshopify. com., and they can be shipped, or they may be picked up at the event. There will be plenty of merchandise on hand for purchase at the event.

Who knew that coming out to support the MCHS Marching Band could give so much back for that support? The weather Saturday promises to be cool and sunny, a perfect day to get out and have some fun. Two wheels, four wheels, one wheel, or walking, rally in on Saturday and let the band march on!
