Want something for free? The Tennessee Department of Health is offering free flu shots Tuesday.

The event will be held at Lynchburg Church of Christ located at 376 Main Street in Lynchburg from 4-6 p.m. Before that, those wanting a flu shot can go to the Moore County Health Department at 251 Majors Blvd. from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The state is urging that a flu shot is the best way to protect yourself, your loved ones and your community during the upcoming flu season.
