Retreat at Whiskey Creek

There has been a lot of discussion lately about the bridge at the Retreat at Whiskey Creek, specifically regarding its safety. The short answer to the question is “No.” In addition to the questionable assessment of the bridge and the ensuing fallout, the bridge is showing signs of wear and tear. There is damage to some of the bridge deck boards, with some of those boards being split and broken. This is without the kind of traffic load that would be expected from the completed development. It seems that that kind of damage at this point would be a cause for concern.
