Jennifer Neel has been hired as the new director for Moore and Coffee and began working on May 1, 2017. Jennifer arrives during an exciting time of growth and opportunity. She plans to continue building on the strong foundation initiated by former director, Alicia Bell. Jennifer, from Manchester, Tennessee has ten years’ experience working in the non-profit sector. In addition, she founded and formally directed the Manchester Hope Outreach program which provides clothing, food, toiletries, and hot meals to families in need. The United Way of Moore and Coffee Counties works to ensure that everyone has a chance to succeed and live a vibrant life at home. In order for all to have that fair chance, The United Way supports four areas that build a good quality of life and a strong community – education, income, health, and essentials. UWCMC is the safest, most effective outlet for donors to make a difference in their community. They raise funds from a variety of individuals and businesses, pooling donated resources to make significant grants to non-profit agencies in Coffee and Moore Counties. They distribute funds strategically. Non-profits submit applications, which their allocation committee reviews every year. Through this process, they can best identify how organizations in our community can work together and provide the most effective and efficient services. They allocate funds to encourage collaboration amongst area service providers. By giving to UWCMC, its not just giving a handout, but contributing to a strategic effort to make our communities stronger. For more information, contact: Jennifer Neel at
