Abrams, Terry, 74 of Moore County, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He had served as a military policeman in the U.S. Army and was a big rig crane operator. He enjoyed raising mammoth donkeys and mules and was an avid fisherman and gardener. Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert Abrams and Georgia Talton Abrams. Survivors include his wife, Donna Lewis Abrams of Moore County; daughter, Lynn Abrams of Dallas, Ga.; son, Steve (Nancy) Abrams of Hiram, Ga.; sister, Dorothy Ridley of Sylacauga, Ala.; and granddaughters, Stephanie Abrams of Acworth, Ga., and Jessie Abrams of Hiram, Ga. Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 14 at Jennings Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Services followed at 11 a.m., with Rev. Larry Roberts and Rev. Kelly Lewis officiating. Interment was in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Shady Dale, Ga.. Jennings Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
