NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is now accepting entries for the 2014 National Missing Children’s Day poster contest.
The agency is asking fifth graders across the state of Tennessee to design posters that represent America’s goal to bring missing children home safely.
Students enter at the state level for a chance to be selected the national winner, who will receive a free trip to Washington D.C.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Justice, the contest also provides parents and schoolteachers a way to educate their students about safety and prevention of child abductions.
National Missing Children’s Day will be held around May 21, 2014.
Fifth grade students have until Jan. 31, 2014 to submit their artwork.
Artwork entries and applications must be mailed to the following address:
