The lab is in Simon Hall, Room 134A, and contains six computers stations at which students can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is the first step students must take when applying for financial aid for college.
Walters will explain the process and help students complete the online FAFSA during weekly workshops through Aug. 15. Students can attend a workshop at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. on July 11, 18 or 25; or Aug. 1, 8 or 15. Walters said they need to call her to reserve a space and date, and need to bring with them their driver’s license, social security card and 2012 tax return information.
Students also may visit the lab anytime from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to complete FASFA forms, drop off financial aid paperwork or ask general financial aid questions, according to Walters.
To reserve a workshop space or for more information, call Walters at (931) 393-1560 or email <email@example.com>.
