Checkpoints will be conducted in the evening hours on State Route 55 at Motlow College Road, State Route 41-A near Carr Creek Rd. and Tullahoma Ridge at Tankersley Ridge Rd.
Impaired driving is a serious crime that kills more than 16,000 people and injures 305,000 others every year in the United States. Deputies will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment.
Deputies will target those who operate a vehicle while impaired and take actions for other violations observed while ensuring the protection of all motorists.
