Seven-day forecast for Lynchburg: Cooler temps coming!

The National Weather Service has issued its seven-day forecast for Lynchburg. In a word, cooler.
After Thursday, highs will be “only” in the mid-to-upper 80s, and after rain moves in Sunday, expect highs to dip to the 70s.
Expect that precipiation, though. Sunday and Monday see 60% chance of rain each day with thunderstorms possible each day. By Tuesday, it should be sunny and we should still have cooler temps than we’ve had — high of 72 on Tuesday and 75 on Wednesday. Lows will be in the upper 40s.

Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
