The Moore County Raiders won against Eagleville on Tuesday with a score of 7-4, earning the region championship title.
The Raiders scored four runs in the fourth inning. Hayden Cooper, Ryder Morey, and Gage Burt each had RBIs in the frame. Gage Burt pitched the Raiders to victory. The righty earned nine strikeouts, only allowing four hits and four runs over six and a third innings. Hayden Carter threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Carter recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Moore County. William Friedenreich took the loss for Eagleville. The pitcher went one and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out one. Brayden Baker started the game for Eagleville. The hurler allowed two hits and two runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking zero. Burt led Moore County with three hits in four at bats, while Keller Morey, Kaden White, and R. Morey collected one hit each. With this win against Eagleville the Raiders earned the right to host sub-state.
