Non-profit organization Project Management Institute plans a luncheon for April 12 at 11 a.m.
Guest speaker Lt. Col. Warner Holt will share his experience from his recent deployment to Northern Iraq, where he led over 1,000 troops and civilians as the Commander for the Field Artillery Squadron of the 278th Armored Calvary Regiment.
During the deployment, he was assigned as the Garrison Commander of Contingency Operating Site Marez and Logistics Support Area Diamondback.
LTC Holt also commanded his three organic Convoy Security Companies that executed over 400 combat convoy escort missions throughout Northern Iraq.
During this luncheon, you will hear about how LTC Holt took a Project Management approach to address the maintenance challenges faced during his deployment to Iraq.
The luncheon will be held in the UT Space Institute in room H-111. The cost is $10 for PMI members and $15 for non-members.
