Damron, Pauline Jewel Hall, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Harton Regional Medical Center at the age of 96. Mrs. Damron was born in Moore County to the late Marion R. and Jenny Prince Hall. She was a member of West End Baptist Church and a caregiver by nature who loved children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60-plus years in 2004, Norman Damron; and 12 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Damron is survived by two daughters, Linda Purnell and her husband Mike of Tullahoma, and Kay Brown and her husband Ralph of Maryville; five grandchildren, Kimberly Morris and her husband David of Memphis, Bryan Purnell and his wife Shelly of Murfreesboro, Jennifer Blankenship and her husband Brock of Abbingdon, Va., Judson Brown and his wife Michelle of Great Falls, Va., and Tyler Brown of Washington, D.C.; and eight great-grandchildren, Stephen Morris, Jonathan Morris, Alex Blankenship, Noah Blankenship, Taylor Blankenship, Molly Jewel Purnell, Preston Brown and Owen Brown. Visitation for Mrs. Damron will be held on Thursday, July 11 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12 at 1 p.m. in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Grosch officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank all those who assisted in the care of Mrs. Damron while she was at home and at Morning Pointe.
