The Moore County Raiders, coming off a difficult 28-22 region loss to Fayetteville City, will have to regroup to face Eagleville on Friday ay 7 p.m.
It will be the fourth straight road contest for the 4-1 Raiders, ranked seventh in the state. Eagleville is 2-3 after beating Community 40-8 last week. There are no more tickets available for the game since Eagleville is limiting capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Raiders’ spread attack is led by senior quarterback Kyler Parker. Parker is 55-of-103 passing for 819 yards and nine touchdowns. He has thrown one interception. Parker is also the team’s top rusher in total yards, carrying 57 times for 319 yards and five touchdowns. He is averaging 5.6 yards per carry. Tyler Smith has rushed 41 times for 196 yards, a 7.2 ypc average. He has also scored five rushing TDs.
Kaden White has caught 20 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns. Dylan Scruggs has hauled in 12 passes for 198 yards and four touchdowns and Brayden Cashion has 13 catches for 169 yards and a TD.
On the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Donnie Pearson leads tacklers with 57 total stops. Kaden White has 56 and Dawson White has 50. Tyler Smith has 49.
The Raiders follow Eagleville with an open date, then host Jo Byrns for homecoming on Oct. 9.
