LOGO motlow college bucks 001Motlow College has begun the search process for a new women’s head basketball coach, according to Tori Raby-Gentry, athletic director at the College.

Aaron Holland will not return as coach after two seasons as leader of the Lady Bucks program. Holland, who came to Motlow after five seasons as a member of the staff at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, compiled a 7-43 record as head coach of the Lady Bucks.

“We will start a nation-wide search for a new women’s basketball coach immediately,” said Raby-Gentry. “We are looking forward to finding someone to rebuild our women’s basketball program.”

The next Lady Bucks coach will inherit a program with a number of returning sophomore players who displayed plenty of potential during the 2013-14 season. Motlow lost only two players from last year’s team due to graduation, Brianna McDonald and Lacy Gaines.
