Web Exclusive — Motlow Bucks head baseball coach Dan McShea has released his team’s 2012 schedule, with opening day set for Friday, Feb. 3 against Lawson State in Birmingham, Alabama.
Following three doubleheaders scheduled the first week in Alabama, the Bucks will play their first game on Tennessee soil at Tullahoma’s Grider Stadium when they host Vincennes University, with the first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m.
The Driver Baseball Complex will host its first contest the following day when Vincennes visits, with the first pitch of the doubleheader scheduled for 12 p.m.
The Bucks have scheduled a total of 56 games, with 31 set to take place at the Driver Complex. Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) play is set to begin the weekend of March 2-3, when Southwest Tennessee visits for a three-game series, part of a season-long nine-game home stand.
The regular season ends with a three-game series in Gallatin against Volunteer State on April 27-28. The TCCAA/Region VII Tournament is scheduled to begin on May 6 and will be played at Chattanooga State.
