The South Central Human Resource Agency office in Moore County has a new Neighborhood Service Clerk.
Shelly Oakley, a resident of Moore County, took the position in December 2011.
“I’m excited to be providing assistance for the residents of Moore County,” says Oakley.
The office, located at 251 Majors Boulevard, will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The office will be closed from 12 to 1 p.m. for lunch as well as all State holidays.
SCHRA provides several services that are available for the Moore County area. These programs include: Commodities, Low Income Home Energy Assistance and Community Services. Each program has its own set of guidelines that applicants must qualify for.

The next Commodity distribution will be Tuesday, February 14 from 12 – 3:30 p.m. at the American Legion next to the pool in Lynchburg.
