LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — Moore County High School’s Savannah Stevens, a 2016 graduate, was honored by the Tennessee Softball Coaches Association (TSCA) as a Middle Tennessee All-State softball selection.
Stevens was among 10 Class A players named, joining Riley Brazier and Madison Konig from Summertown; Ma’Liya Stone and Madelyn Dycus from Goodpasture; Zoiee Gobbell, of Collinwood; Riley Walker and Courtney Petty from Friendship High School; Shelby West, of Gordonsville; and Anna Grace Fox, of Zion Christian School.
All-State players were chosen from each region — West, Middle and East Tennessee.
In the West Tennessee region, Huntingdon High School’s Sara Beth Hayes was named the Class A Miss Softball. In the Middle Tennessee Region, Summertown’s Reagan Hannah was named Class A Miss Softball. In East Tennessee, Ashley Rogers, of Meigs County High School was named Class A Miss Softball.
Players selected were invited to participate in ceremonies where members from each region could meet and be introduced.
