LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — Moore County Middle School and Moore County High School students returned to school on Tuesday for an abbreviated day to get their class schedules and meet their teachers.

For Lynchburg seventh-graders, it marked a new beginning as they joined classmates on the main campus. Parent and student orientation was planned Tuesday evening at Lynchburg Elementary School.

After a teacher in-service day on Wednesday, the 2015-16 school year will begin Thursday as students return at all three schools — LES, MCMS and MCHS — for the first full day.
