LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — The month of February is Creative Romance Month.
The Moore County Public Library will hold a creative writing contest for area teens. The contest will be open to ages 12 to 17. The teens can submit a romantic poem or love song lyrics.
The winner will be awarded a dinner for two at the Tullahoma Chick- fil-A restaurant. The winning poem or song lyrics will be published in a February edition of The Moore County News.
The only rules for the contest are to keep it original; all work must be the writer’s own. Judging will be done by the library staff.
The contest will run from Feb. 1-12. All entries must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12. The winner will be announced on the library’s Facebook page on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
