Moore County High School’s newly formed Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) organization recently made a monetary donation to the American Heart Association following one of the club’s first fundraisers. The group’s officers gave AMA representative Polly Perkins a check for $870, money HOSA raised by selling T-shirts for national Wear Red Day in early February. At the presentation are (from left) Kelsie Crosslin, treasurer; Chandler Smith, president; Perkins, the American Heart Association; Aaron Vassar, vice president; Lynsey Riddle; secretary; and Katlynn Maddox, reporter.
