The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested a volunteer fire fighter with the Moore County Volunteer Fire Department for theft on Friday, July 26 after he was indicted by the Moore County grand jury.
Bradley Dwayne Fletcher, 30, of Lynchburg, was indicted on one count of theft of property over $1,000. In April of 2012, the 17th Judicial District Attorney General requested TBI investigate theft of fuel from the Moore County Volunteer Fire Department. Fletcher admitted to filling his personal vehicles with gas using the fire department’s fuel cards. The investigation revealed a total of $1,875 in gas was stolen using the credit card.
The Moore County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the arrest. Fletcher was booked into the Moore County Jail.
