Jessee Millsaps recently received a first place Bred-by-Exhibitor class winner with his Crossbred heifer at the Tennessee Junior Livestock Exposition in Murfreesboro. His heifer, “Sugar Baby,” is a Shorthorn/Angus crossbreed. As class winner, he was called back for selection of the Reserve Champion Bred-by-Exhibitor selection, but was not selected.  The Bred-by-Exhibitor award is for 4-H members who own the dam and sire of their show animal. Jessee has a personal herd of registered Shorthorn cattle and the Millsaps’ family owns the Angus bull. Jessee is a 7th-grader at Moore County Middle School.
