LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — The Metropolitan Lynchburg/Moore County Council will hold its August meeting, scheduled for Monday night the 17th, at Moore County High School. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the Commons Area in the middle school wing.

The agenda includes:

• A Budget Committee report;

• Approval of the 2015-16 Utility Board;

• The Debt Schedule for School Renovation;

• Comments from the Lynchburg Adult Leadership Class.

Coleman March, Patrick Maynard, Marty Copeland, Arvis Bobo and Tommy Brown have been appointed to the Utility Board and the council will seek approval at this month’s meeting.

At the Council’s July meeting council members examined the inventory list for the Highway Department; looked over the county’s annual financial statements; and discussed but took no action on a letter regarding tax relief from Metro Moore Trustee Lynn Harrison.
