Mary Motlow works to improve wildlife habitat on Cumberland Springs

Posted on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 11:03 am

Mary Motlow and others have been working to improve wildlife habitat on Cumberland Springs Wildlife Preserve for the last several years.  Ms. Motlow has recently completed a Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program (WHIP) project with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), which helped develop and implement a plan to enhance deer, turkey and quail habitat in the area.

Along with NRCS support, Ms. Motlow also relied on Panther Creek Forestry, LLC to provide advice and manpower to put these improvements in action.
