Bondurant, Martha Elaine Manson, 92, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday April 14, 2013 at her residence after a short illness. A native of Murfreesboro, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Manson and Nelle Thompson Manson Couch. She was a bookkeeper for the Farm and Home Store she and her late husband Richard owned. She attended Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church. She loved to play cards with her friends and loved to listen to music. She is survived by her sons Charlie Bondurant and wife Beth, Joe Bondurant and wife Ginger, all of Lynchburg, Tommy Bondurant and wife Charlotte of Winchester, and daughter, Renee Bondurant of Lynchburg; grandchildren Jill Russell and husband Don, Brant Bondurant both from Winchester, Scot Bondurant and wife Kacy of Murfreesboro, Cassie Bondurant of Lynchburg, Bruce Winterburn and wife Elizabeth of Pulaski, Shelly Gorham and husband Scott, Bridget Shirer and husband Jay T of Dickson and Josh Bondurant and wife Corrie of Lynchburg. She has 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Mrs. Bondurant was preceded in death by her husband Richard Greene Bondurant, who passed away in April of 2003; a granddaughter, Abbie Bondurant; and two brothers, Jimmy Manson and Marvin Manson. The family received friends on Wednesday April 17, beginning at 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Awalt officiating.
