Local History Lecture Series begins June 26

Fayetteville – The Friends of the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Library host a benefit lecture series beginning June 26 and continuing through Oct. 23.

The first lecture is The Civil War in Lynchburg, Mulberry and Booneville by Dr. Michael Bradley.

Dr. Bradley is a well-known local historian who taught history at Motlow State Community College for many years. He is also an author with numerous local history titles to his name.

The lecture begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Library Genealogy Room. It’s open to the public and donations to fund Genealogy Room will be accepted. For more information, call Margaret Fowler at (931) 251-3100.
