LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — As a sure sign that summer is over, the Moore County Farmers Market will open for the last time this year on Friday, Oct. 16. The farmers have enjoyed their weekly opportunity to visit with friends and provide garden fresh produce, baked goods, honey, jellies, syrup, eggs and more to residents and visitors.

To show appreciation to their loyal customers, farmers will be serving a hot dog, drink and chips to any customer who makes a purchase on this last day. You are invited to stop by Moorehead Pavilion in Wiseman Park between 3 and 6 p.m.
