Tullahoma School Superintendent Dr. Dan Lawson will be speaking at the next Community Awareness Series on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at the D W Wilson Community Center in Tullahoma.
The public is invited to listen and ask questions.
The Community Awareness Series lets you learn first hand about issues that affect you. It is only three months old but already we have learned about the new healthcare law, from a nurse practitioner Donna Seely, who cares deeply about her patients.
Jim Derry, of the Tennessee Meth Task Force, spoke about the key role pseudoephedrine products play in the tremendous meth lab problem in this area and how to help local law enforcement to eradicate it.
In January we will hear about the new tax laws and how to deal with them, which will hopefully not be as difficult as early healthcare sign ups or as challenging as enacting a local pseudoephedrine ordinance that everyone seems to want.
