Moore County Middle School is continuing its character education program.

In this program, a different character trait is emphasized each month and each week a student who represents that character trait is chosen by teachers. Then a student is chosen from those students as the Student of the Month.

For the month of January, the trait has been ‘Fairness.’ MCMS is pleased to announce the January Student of the Month is Kinsley Logan. Kinsley is the 12-year-old daughter of Shea and Chris Logan. She has a younger brother named Laten.

Kinsley loves to play basketball with her friends. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and going to church and learning about God. She also enjoys working in the gym. She is very thankful for every person in her life.

Kinsley is fair to her classmates and friends by treating them with kindness and helping, especially new students who come in to get adjusted. She is fair in school by caring about her school work and having her work on time.

She is careful to be sure it is correct so the teacher has less work to do. She doesn’t expect others to take time away by having to spend extra time on her. She is fair to all.

She received a goodie bag with lots of items including coupons from Lynchburg Drug Store, Hardees, Arby’s, Sonic, Subway, Domino’s Pizza, Dairy Queen, Bowling, Krystal, Taco Bell, Woodards and Iron Kettle.

She also received a free ice cream from the cafeteria, a free homework pass and a certificate of recognition. Look for her name on the sign in front of our school. MCMS is proud of Kinsley for being a fair and caring person. Keep it up!
