Incumbent rule is state elections

Incumbent Bob Corker won the Republican U.S. Senate primary by a landslide — garnering 250,000 more votes that his nearest opponent. In Moore County, Corker won by over 600 votes.

Incumbent Scott Desjarlais won the U. S. House District 4 primary — garnering twice as many votes as either challenge. In Moore County he earned 726 votes to Eric Stewart’s 324 and Shannon Kelly’s 121 votes.

Another incumbent, Jim Tracy took the State Senate District 14 seat. In Moore County, he bested fellow Republican Matt Randolph by a 746 to 122 margin.

The the state House District 39 seat, incumbent David Alexander beat out Doug Clark. In Moore County, Alexander gained 744 votes to Clark’s 303.
