Hollingsworth collects $3,000 payday at Winchester Speedway

Ronny Hollingsworth, of Northport, Ala., collected $3,000 for his victory Saturday night at Winchester Speedway’s Summerfest. Hollingsworth outran Tim Busha, of Boaz, Ala., and Riley Hickman, of Cleveland, for the win. Jay Brinkley, of Raus, was fourth, with Fayetteville’s Jay Scott completing the top-five in the 40-lap Super Late Model main event.

Brad Skinner, David Brannon, David Seibers, David Gentry and Corey Holmes completed the top 10. Lynchburg’s Daniel Miller was 14th in the 24-car field.

Winchester’s David Jackson won the Limited Late Model feature ahead of Gentry and Seibers. Jadon Frame was fourth, with Mark Haddon fifth.

The Modified Stock feature was won by Timothy Merritt. Rex Dunn was second, followed by John Perry, Chad Williams and Dewayne Hicks.

Justin Owens claimed the Street Stock feature. Cory Pendergrass drove to a runner-up finish, while Bill Hammonds was third, Jimmy Cree fourth and Allen Morris fifth.

The Mini Stock feature was picked up by Jackie Hentz. Doug Waldrep, Justin Sells, Daniel Walls and Alan Betts completed the top five.
