Health Occupation Students of America is a new organization at Moore County High School designed to help students who are interested in entering the medical field.

The organization is holding its first community service project as a group this week, selling T-shirts for the American Heart Association to take a stand against heart disease.

Feb. 1 is National Wear Red Day, and the club wants to “RED OUT” the MCHS home basketball game against Cascade that night. The club will be selling T-shirts the game Friday night and you can purchase T-shirts at the high school through an HOSA officer. The T-shirts are $10 each and come in sizes small through 2XL.

All proceeds go toward to AHA.
