• Beginning at 4 p.m., the Metro Moore County Fire Dept. will once again host trick or treaters and provide a Chili supper while it lasts. “Come by (the fire department). Everybody’s welcome,” said Chief Mark Neal.
• Lynchburg First United Methodist Church will be sponsoring a Trunk or Treat beginning at 5 p.m. Children are invited to come by the church on 65 Mechanic St. N. to get free goodies.
• First Baptist Church at 177 Mechanic St. N will host a Trunk or Treat event beginning at 5 p.m. in the church parking lot.
• First Baptist Church in Fayetteville will host its annual Fear Not Fest from 5 to 8 p.m. Enjoy trunk or treating, hot dogs, soft drinks and plenty of games. The church is located at 210 North Elk Avenue.
• Bass Pro Shops in Nashville will host a Great Pumpkin Halloween event from 4 to 8 p.m. The event includes free 4×6 photo with life-size cutouts of Peanuts characters, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Sally and Lucy; free coloring sheets; Halloween trick-or-treating throughout the store; a costume parade at 6 p.m.
