Filmmaker to attend Sharia Law Class

Documentary filmmaker Eric Allen Bell will attend and speak at the Sharia Law class scheduled to take place in Lynchburg on Saturday.

Following Dr. Bill Warner’s discussion on the nature of Sharia Law and how it might affect you affect you, Bell will speak.

Bell has gained regional notoriety by frequently speaking to national media such as Fox News regarding the Murfreesboro mosque controversy. Bell wrote, produced and directed the film “Not Welcome” documenting the backlash against construction of a 53,000 square foot mega mosque in Rutherford County.

Local organizers will discuss Islam and Sharia Law in a four-hour class presented by the Center for Political Islam. The class takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the American Legion Building.

The cost of the class is $5 and includes a copy of the book Sharia Law for Non-Muslims.

A screening of “Losing Our Sons” – a documentary story of Carlos Bledsoe and Pvt. Andy Long_– may follow.
