On Thursday, April 18, the two Moore County fce Clubs will hold their bi-annual joint meeting at the County Building. The fce County Council will meet at 10 a.m., followed by a covered dish lunch at 11 a.m. and a program at approximately 11:45 a.m.
The program, “Identity Theft and Security,” will be presented by Clint Hayes. Clint is the Branch Manager of the Farmer’s Bank. His topic could not be timelier.
Government agencies estimate that the number of individuals affected annually by identity theft is in the millions. The criminals are becoming more sophisticated in their methods and each of us must stay informed and alert to avoid becoming a victim.
You do not have to be an fce member to attend this program. Community education is a mission of fce.
