The 2012 corn maze at Grandaddy’s Farm looks like a mother duck and her ducklings. Visitors can explore the maze at night by the light of a glow stick.

Estill Springs – Recently the farmers at Grandaddy’s Farm have spotted strange markings in the cornfield near the pumpkin patch. It is said that they resemble a mama duck and her ducklings.

Starting September 15, Grandaddy’s Farm opens for the season. Opening day hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The farm will then be open each Tuesday – Thursday 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 1:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Soon families from all over middle Tennessee will trek to Grandaddy’s Farm to make memories. Young and young-at-heart will wander their way through the corn as they attempt to solve the idiom riddles about farm animals. For a bigger challenge, attempt the maze at night with only the light of a glow stick for guidance. Be sure to bring a friend for moral support.

The cost is $6 for ages 2-9, and $8 for ages 10 and up. Group rates, weekday coupon and farm address are available online at the farm website, www.Grandaddysfarm.com.
