Duck River Raceway Park to Host Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals Touring Series on Thursday, May 8

LOGO Spring NationalsWHEEL, Tenn. — Duck River Raceway Park fans get ready to kick off a full month of late model madness, starting on Thursday May 8th as the Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals Series will visit Duck River Raceway Park for a $4000 To-Win 40 lap event.

The Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals touring series will make its stop in Wheel, Tn. for round number eight on the tours schedule on Thursday May 8th, 2014.  Duck River Raceway Park hosted the series in 2013 and Tim Mcreadie of Watertown, NY was victorious by leading the way to the checkered flag and capturing the win.

Going into Thursday May 8ths event, Billy Ogle Jr of Knoxville, Tn. leads the Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals series current point standings followed by Donald McIntosh, Michael Chilton, Stacy Boles, David Payne, Eric Wells, Kenny Collins, Austin Smith, Victor Lee, Mike Marlar. Duck River Raceway Park hot shoes tentatively scheduled to be in attendance are Brad Skinner, Scott Cook, Clint Nichols, Justin Taylor, Daniel Miller, and Mark Fields

On Thursday Night May 8th the Gates will open at 3:00 pm and the Driver’s Meeting is slated for 6:30 pm and hot laps set for 7 p.m. CST at Duck River Raceway Park. The 2-Barrel Late Models, Crate Late Models, Pure/Street Stock and the Pure Pony class will also be on the racing card for the evening.
