Date set for 2016 Miss Lynchburg Pageant

LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — The Moore County High School Senior class of 2016 will present the Miss Lynchburg Pageant on Saturday, Jan. 30 in the auditorium at Lynchburg Elementary School at 4 p.m. The Miss Lynchburg Pageant is an annual fundraising event that allows Moore County High School seniors to visit Washington, D.C., and New York City — a trip that will be one in a lifetime for many students.

To qualify, each contestant must be a resident of Moore County or approved to attend Moore County Schools and be at least 18 months old and no older than a senior in high school. The winner of each division will receive a crown, sash, roses and the title of the division won. Registration forms can be picked up at Lynchburg Elementary School and Moore County High School.

Admission for the pageant is $5 for ages five and up. For more information, contact Moore County High School at (931) 759-4231.
