The Moore County News, along with The Tullahoma News, is sponsoring a holiday coloring contest.

The contest is open to children ages 10 and under and is divided into three age categories: 5 and under; 6 to 7 years old; and 8 to 10 years old. There will be three winners in each category from the Moore County News and three from each category at the Tullahoma News.

To enter the contest, each child should choose one page to color from the Christmas Coloring Book provided in today’s edition of The News. After coloring the page, it may be dropped off at The News office just off the square in Lynchburg, or mailed to The Moore County News, Attn: Classifieds, P.O. Box 500, Lynchburg, TN 37352.

Entries must be received at The News office no later than 4 p.m. on Jan. 2.

Crayons, markers or pencils may be used. An adult may assist in filling out the form, but not in coloring the entry. Contestants may choose one page to submit with the contest entry form (only one entry per child).

All voting is open to the public and will take place at The Moore County News office.

Winners will be announced in The Moore County News on Jan. 10 and each winner will receive a prize.

Those entering the contest in Tullahoma may drop off their entries at The Tullahoma News office (Attn: Classifieds) at 505 Lakeway Place in Tullahoma or at D.W. Wilson Community Center (Attn: Merrill Meadows), 501 N. Collins Street, Tullahoma. Winners in Tullahoma will be announced in the Jan. 11 edition of The Tullahoma News.
