Manchester – Maj. Gen. Benjamin F. Cheatham Camp 72 plan their next dinner meeting for June 26 at 6 p.m. at the Oak Restaurant in Manchester. At 7 p.m., Commander Williams will open the meeting.  At this meeting, we will elect Camp officers for the coming two years, as well as vote on dues amounts.

For our program, Kirby Crabtee will speak on the Confederate States Medical Department.  Kirby is a former member of camp and currently a member of the camp in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Meetings are open to the general public and all Civil War buffs have a special invitation for the program.

Membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans is open to all males 12 years of age and above who had an ancestor that served honorably in the Confederate Armed Forces or the Confederate Congress and can prove kinship either lineal or collaterally.
