Smith, Catherine, 96, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday May 21, 2013 at Lincoln Care Center in Fayetteville. A native of Moore County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Eslick and Mary Donaldson Eslick. She was a retired supervisor for the Glove Factory in Lynchburg and a member of the County Line Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, reading her Bible and flower gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Cunningham of Lynchburg; grandsons Stanley Burton of Lynchburg, Scot Burton and his wife Alisa of Nashville, Doug Price and his wife Carmen of Lynchburg, Mark Price and his wife Lisa of Lynchburg and Barry Price and his wife Suzanne of Huntsville, Ala.; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh D. Smith; daughter Hughleen Price; great-granddaughter Jenny Mason; and brothers Homer, Jack, Don and Claude Eslick. The family received friends on Thursday, May 23 at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Leo Bechard officiating. Burial followed at the Lynchburg Cemetery.
