Special Agent Mike Breedlove, recently retired from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), will be the guest speaker during the Vietnam Era Veterans meeting on Thursday, May 8, at 6 p.m. at Mike’s Diner in the Walmart shopping center in Shelbyville.
Breedlove was involved in the Holly Bobo case and many others in his illustrious career. He is presently a candidate for sheriff in his home county.
In addition to its regular monthly meeting, the Vietnam Era Veterans group meets every Wednesday and the second Saturday of the month for a veteran’s breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. at Mike’s Diner.
Vietnam Era Veterans do not collect dues, according to Tom Taylor of the organization.
“Vietnam Era Veterans is just good old camaraderie of veterans who served our great county in the United States military,” Taylor said.
