BETTY JANE REDFORD

REDFORD, Betty Jane, 67, passed this life Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Clifton L. and Pauline Nelson Hall. She was a member of the Marble Plains Baptist Church, a graduate of Moore County High School with the Class of 1962, served as trustee of the Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, and served on the first Metro Moore County Council. She was a retired customer service representative for the Tullahoma Utilities Board. She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Redford Jr., Lynchburg; two sisters, Bobbie Redd, Lynchburg, and Helen R. Craig, Nashville, several nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends. Visitation with the family was held from 5 to 9 p.m, Tuesday, March 19, at the Tullahoma Funeral Home. She was transported to Marble Plains Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, where she lay in state until time for the funeral at 1 p.m. BurialĀ  followed in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by the following ministers: Bros. Jack Hise, Darrin Minor, Charlie Nunley, Larry Roberts, Keith Shelton and Horace Jacobs.
