Community members will host a benefit to raise money for the medical necessities of a local 15 year old girl.

Jessica was born with a seizure disorder and cerebral palsy.   The severity of her medical conditions requires her to be wheelchair bound.  She also requires 24 hour a day nursing care.  She recently underwent a nine hour surgery to infuse her spine due to severe scoliosis. Jessica Lowery is daughter of Pamela Lowery and the granddaughter of David and Opha Maynard.

A benefit with live auction, gospel singing, and dinner will be held on May 26 at the Eastside Church of the Nazarene on Birch Alley in Tullahoma.    Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. with hamburger or hot dog plates at $6 per plate.  The singing will begin at 6 p.m. with Lester and Sue Sullivan and Danny Bell.  The auction will follow the singing.

This benefit is to help with repairs to medical ramps at her home and repairs to the handicapped van needed for transport.  An benefit account has been set up at the Farmer’s Bank in Lynchburg.

For more information you can contact David Maynard at (931) 393-3693.
