The Moore County swimming pool is now open for summer.

The pool is open from noon until 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The cost for ages 18 and over is $4; cost for kids ages 4-17 is $3. Children ages 3 and under are admitted free.

Last year, with the help of Brown-Forman, the county was able to make a number of upgrades to the community pool.

Needed repairs were made to the diving board, while new furniture and a new privacy fence were also added.

Tanning chairs, picnic tables, a slide and the diving board were among the improvements made.
