LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — With birds chirping and the sun finally out, it’s only fitting that the Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce turn its thoughts to its annual Spring in the Hollow.

This year’s Spring in the Hollow is set for Saturday, April 25, beginning at 8 a.m. until things wind down in Wiseman Park and on the historic Lynchburg Square.

A number of events are on tap.

The “Men in High Heels” race from the gazebo to Farmers Bank should be a hoot and will help Relay for Life. Then there will be a 5K Fun Run to benefit the Sullivan Family.

As always, there will be handmade craft items, as well as plant and flower vendors around the square. The annual quilt show is expected to showcase many wonderful quilts at the IBIS Building. Animals will be up for adoption and the Plant, Garden, and Bird House Auction in front of the Drug Store will have a number of items for sale.

New this year in Wiseman Park will be the Outdoor, Recreational and Gardening Displays. Direct Sales vendors and Free Bingo in the Park will be located in the Moorehead Pavilion.

Keep checking The Moore County News and online at <lynchburgtn.com> for applications and specific times. Plant and craft vendors needing a space can call Candy Richard after 6 p.m. at (931) 433-8461.
