50 Plus Transitional Workshop hosts Tennessee Deputy Commissioner of Veteran’s Affairs in Lynchburg on April 4

Moore County residents age 50 and over are invited to attend the 50 Plus Transitional Workshop to be held on Friday, April 4 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the American Legion Building located at 119 Booneville Highway.

This workshop, provided by Jennings Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, allows attendees to enjoy short presentations by guest speakers who will be sharing information on Medicare, Financial Planning, Veteran’s Benefits, Living Wills, Prearrangement, and Cemetery Options.

The event features Wendell Cheek, the Tennessee Deputy Commissioner of Veteran’s Affairs, who will be sharing valuable information for area veterans. Cheek has multiple topics to discuss and looks forward to meeting the people of Moore County.
